Tainted Innocence (Hades!Levi x Persephone!Reader)

Finally, after settling on a dark grey toga, a silver cloak, silver sandals, and his trusty black scythe, he slowly strolled out of his palace, hoping to miss as much of the festival as he could.

His pet Cerberus yapped happily at him. "Be a good boy and kill anyone who comes by here, okay?", Levi commanded, feeding his dog a stake and stroking each head as he passed by.

He arrived at the festival, doing his best to drown out the loud noise of people chatting and getting along. He took some time to observe his surroundings, looking for a certain someone.

The festival was taking place on a giant cloud overlooking Olympus. There were white pillars with decorations on them surrounding the cloud, and two golden pillars flanked the entrance. The pillars were decorated with symbols that represented each of the gods and goddess, and were made out of glass. Levi even saw one of his own symbols on there, the cypress. All the decorations were in rainbows colors.

Tch, Iris.

There were candles on white tables, which already had plates, forks, knives and spoons on them, ready for eating. This entire scene was being illuminated by the sunset, making it all the more dazzling. 

But no sign of Erwin.

Pinching the bridge of his nose, he made his way to the table where food and drink was being served. The person at the table looked up with a smile until he recognized who it was.

"O-oh, h-hello your m-majesty, how can I h-help you?", the timid server asked. Levi rolled his eyes. The server was pretty short, and for some reason bald. He was shaking in his boots once he realized he had somehow displeased the gloomy god. Levi couldn't blame him, he scared everybody, aside from a small percentage of people.

"Some stake, rice and vegetables will be fine".

Nodding, the server quickly prepared the older, and handed it to Levi. "Here go you sir!". Nodding curtly, Levi took the plate of food and made his way to an empty table, that was until Hanji stopped him. Or more like jumped in front of him.

"Hey there grumpy pants! How's life in the Underworld treating you?"

"Oh you know, gloomy, dark, and little bit of death" (Much like our fandom, no?)

Hanji cackled, wiping some tears from her eyes. "Oh shorty, you never stop to amaze me. Hey, I thought you hated these types of events, what brought you here?"

"My persistent and annoying excuse of a brother".

"Oh, I figured. Well, who knows, maybe you might be able to go through one festival without smiting someone!"

"Doubt it".

"Hey Hanji!", screamed a loud and boyish voice.

"Oh, Pixis!".

Pixis was the god of wine and entertainment. He always knew how to make a scene, and made everyone laugh, well, almost everyone. 
You would always know if is was Pixis. He had a loud voice, wrinkled skin, the goldest eyes you had ever seen, and a pearly white grin.

Long story short, he was a wine-drinking party animal.

"Hiya Pixis! What brings you here, besides the fact there's a party going on."

The said male shrugged "Eh, nothing much, just wanted to crash the place. Actually no, there IS a certain reason why I'm here..."

"...I wanna meet Persephone".

"Oh right! Persephone~" Hanji said with excitement.

"Who the fuck is Persephone?", Levi muttered in annoyance. Pixis and Hanji looked at him like he was crazy. "Persephone is Erwin's daughter. She's the goddess of innocence and spring. I'm not really surprised you haven't heard of her, she's been spent her life away with her parents on an oasis far away from Olympus. I heard she is coming tonight though", Hanji mused.

Goddess of innocence hm~?

Levi was a little curious about the niece he never knew he had, but even more so over the fact that Erwin never told him. Bitter betrayal swarmed in his chest. Why wouldn't Erwin tell him? Did he really think that Levi was that little of importance? Just because he ruled over the Underworld? 

The trio went quite for a moment, and the sound of trumpets filled the room. Everyone, including Levi, looked in the direction of the trumpets. 

There Erwin stood, in all his glory, along with his wife, Demeter.

Levi tried to deny the feeling of hate building up in his chest.

"Good evening everyone! I hope you are enjoying the party so far". An eruption of cheers filled the room before Erwin put of his hands up for silence. 

"While I am glad that we can come together and celebrate for all time's sake once again, there is a certain reason why this party in particular is so special".

"Mikasa is finally off her period!", Pixis shouted, earning a few chuckles and a death glare from Mikasa and Eren.

"Not exactly Pixis", Erwin mused, a smile making it's way onto his lips. "I would like to introduce you to my new daughter". Erwin stepped aside, revealing the figure behind him.

The young female had (s/c) skin, and (h/l) (h/c) hair. Her (e/c) eyes sparkled with kindness and innocence, and she flashed everyone a dazzling smile. Her attire was that of a flowing silky white dress, with golden armbands on each arm, a blue bracelet on her right wrist, a pink one on her left, and a flower crown in her hair. Her entire figure was illuminated by the sunset's rays.

Levi blocked out the 'ooohs' 'aaah's' and whistles and focused on the young female in front of him.

Her eyes met his, and she smiled sweetly at him.

"Her name is Persephone", Erwin declared.

The crowd of divinities cheered and clapped, and the young goddess hid her face in her mother's arm.

After the gods and goddess went back to the party, Levi pushed his way through the masses, determined to get to the young goddess who intrigued him so. 

When he finally got to her, he took her right hand, and kissed it, looking her straight in the eye with a sweet, seductive gaze.

She squeaked at the sight of this and turned her face away while biting her plump bottom lip, feeling her face heat up. Levi smirked.

Oh little girl, you have no idea how endearing you are, do you?

Taking both of her hands into his, he flashed her a sexy smile, his voice sounding lower and more entrancing than ever before, making the young girl's breath hitch ever so slightly.

He knew he had her attention.

He knew she was already caught in his trap.

Once she looked at him with those unassuming eyes...

...that was all the confirmation he needed.

But, he couldn't rush it.

He couldn't let the opportunity get away either.

He had to move quick enough, but so that she wouldn't notice.

And he had the perfect plan.

"Why hello there, my little goddess~".

Okay guys, this is REALLY important, and I want to thank  for bringing this to my attention:

The greek gods and goddess did some crazy things back then, okay? One of them was marrying siblings and relatives. To them, this was COMPLETELY NORMAL. If you know the myths of Persephone then you know how this story is going to turn out. To us, it might be pedophilia and incest, but this is greek mythology we are talking about, logic has no place here. So, if you are thinking about bashing me because I am writing a fanfic that will cover those two sensitive topics (I really don't care if you do, but you're wasting your time), you might want to think again. Once again, THIS IS GREEK MYTHOLOGY PEOPLE. YOU CAN'T USE THE ARGUMENTS FOR HATING ERERI AND RIVAMIKA AND APPLY THEM TO THIS. IT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY.

Edit: And one more thing: DO YOUR FUCKING RESEARCH. Learn about Greek Mythology first before you read. PLEASE. If it says "Zeus was married to Demeter" in my story, maybe you should go online AND FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF IF IT IS TRUE (hint: it is).
